The Operations Center is expanding, and we are now looking for two Operations Engineers who want to help develop the future power grid. In this role, you will support daily operations and drive improvement initiatives.
About the role of Operations Engineer
Our Operations Center is the heart of our business, ensuring that electricity flows to the homes of our 970,000 customers every day. As an Operations Engineer at Ellevio, you will work at one of Sweden's largest Operations Centers, where you will have the opportunity to work in a modern environment focused on development while being a crucial part of managing parts of Sweden's infrastructure.
As an Operations Engineer, you will be part of the operations support team and serve as an important bridge between the Operations Center and other departments. You will provide technical support in close collaboration with operations managers and supervisors, and you will be responsible for developing and driving improvements within the operational activities. This role offers you significant opportunities to influence strategic decisions while also developing your technical skills through varied and challenging tasks.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
• Operations management in operational activities
• Participation in projects and development initiatives
• Incident investigations
• Network analysis and technical support
• Communication with authorities, other network owners, and contractors

Who are you?
To thrive in the role of Operations Engineer, we see that you have the ability to lead and develop processes within the organization, as well as identify shortcomings and drive improvement proposals. You have a good ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively and find solutions to challenges that arise in everyday life. You possess strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We are looking for someone who has:
• A university degree in engineering with a focus on electrical power
• Several years of work experience in electrical power
• Good system knowledge and the ability to learn new systems quickly
It is considered an advantage if you have:
• Experience in projects, control equipment, or field experience
• Advanced knowledge of electrical power systems for transmission and distribution networks
