About Us
The Urban Environment Department at the Technical Administration is responsible for managing and developing public spaces in Solna City.
All operations and management are outsourced. The department organizes its activities across three units: Park and Land, Street, Traffic and Permits, and Urban Environment Projects. Your position will belong to the Park and Land unit.

What Does the Job Involve?
The Technical Administration is seeking someone who, together with committed colleagues, wants to contribute to improving the city's park and natural environments. As a park and land operations engineer, you will be the responsible commissioner for outdoor environment maintenance, including both summer maintenance and natural areas. We are now seeking someone who, in addition to this, wants to take special responsibility for monitoring our operational contracts. You will be the person colleagues turn to with questions about the contracts. You will lead and structure operational meetings with contractors and ensure that current and future contracts function well. You will also be part of our daily operations, placing orders for actions and planning future projects.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Completed high school education
- Education in a relevant field for the position
- Experience working in park and/or land management within municipal operations or other equivalent experience assessed by the city
- Experience in monitoring operational contracts, both strategically and operationally
- B driver's license
- Good digital working skills
- Excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
You should have good knowledge of contract types (including ABFF15) related to our operations regarding structure, application, and follow-up. Experience working in a politically governed organization is also meritorious.
