We are now seeking four operations workers, one of whom should have machine operator skills, who want to contribute to a safe, pleasant, and well-maintained outdoor environment for everyone living and spending time in Enköping. The Technical and Service Administration consists of Property, Public Spaces, Water and Sewage, Meal Services, and Staff. In total, we are approximately 300 employees who work closely together and with other municipal actors to develop the technical and physical community environment. Public Spaces consists of three units: Operations and Management, Planning and Investigation, and Projects and Facilities. These positions are located within Operations and Operational Planning, which is one of two departments within the Operations and Management unit. The department is responsible for operating, maintaining, and developing the municipality's public spaces year-round. Focus areas include parks and natural areas, road maintenance, pedestrian and bicycle paths, playgrounds, lighting, cleaning, and other safety-enhancing interventions. You will be responsible for operations and maintenance of parks, natural areas, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and street operations, as well as perform inspections, simple repairs, and error reporting in public spaces. The work also involves contributing to a safe and well-functioning public space through daily maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring of playgrounds, lighting, and other equipment. The role involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues to ensure our environments maintain high quality year-round. We are also seeking a machine operator. As a machine operator, you will primarily work with mechanical operations and maintenance of the municipality's public spaces, though other tasks may occur. You will drive equipment carriers in daily work, participate in on-call duty, and report errors and deficiencies in public spaces. QUALIFICATIONS Operations Worker Qualifications For the operations worker role, a B driver's license, basic computer skills, and experience in operations and maintenance within park, nature, or street maintenance are required. Experience working in public service and customer contact or service work is considered advantageous. Machine Operator Qualifications For the machine operator position, a B driver's license, basic computer skills, and experience in machine operation, preferably with a background in construction, are required.
