Project Description PhD Subject: Physics The doctoral candidate will conduct research on supernova remnants and address questions related to explosion physics, compact objects, and circumstellar interaction. The work will primarily involve analysis and modeling of observational data. Observations from various wavelength ranges will be used (primarily infrared, optical, and X-ray), including observations from the new James Webb Telescope. The total employment period cannot exceed full-time doctoral education for four years. An employed doctoral candidate can, to a limited extent (maximum 20%), perform certain tasks in areas such as education and administration. A new doctoral candidate employment is valid for a maximum of one year and can subsequently be renewed for up to two years at a time.
