About this role
Do you want to lead document control in a complex and socially beneficial industrial project? We are looking for a Document Control Lead for a full-time consulting assignment. You will be employed by Poolia and work with a leading energy company in Stockholm. The assignment is expected to start in early December and will run until January 31, 2027.
About the position
As Document Control Lead, you will be responsible for driving, developing, and ensuring the quality of all technical documentation within a larger project for the client. You will ensure that documents such as drawings, specifications, and reports are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with the project's standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with the Digitalization Manager, Information Coordination, Engineering, and suppliers.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure the quality of the documentation process and Final Handover deliveries.
- Coordinate documentation flows internally and with suppliers.
- Ensure correct versioning, structure, and archiving in EDMS/CDE systems.
- Review technical documents for completeness and compliance.
- Drive improvements in document control and serve as the primary contact for documentation issues.
- Participate in "Digitalization Meetings."
Who are you?
Experience & skills:
- At least 7 years of experience in technical document management in larger industrial or engineering projects.
- Experience with Final Handover in large-scale projects.
- Good knowledge of EDMS/CDE systems (e.g., Aconex).
- Strong understanding of documentation processes, technical standards, and lifecycle management.
- Relevant post-secondary education (vocational training or university).
- Excellent Swedish and English; other languages are an advantage.
Meritorious:
- Experience with the transition to Digital Twin-based handover processes.
Personal qualities:
- Highly structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious.
- Proactive, communicative, and accustomed to dynamic project environments.
