About the Job
As an animal caregiver at UDS, you will work in one or more of the small animal department's units depending on your previous experience and expertise.
At UDS, education is an important and enjoyable part of our daily work, where you will be involved in training future veterinarians and veterinary nurses. Shifts may be scheduled at all times of the day, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Your Background
You are an animal caregiver at level 2 or 3 with several years of experience in clinical work at a 24/7 animal hospital. Experience in emergency care, intensive care, and/or operating room work is meritorious, as is experience in work leadership. You express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish.
You appreciate working in multidisciplinary teams but can also work independently. You are driven to provide each patient with safe and high-quality care. Your approach is scientific, with an interest in evidence-based care and openness to adapting working methods in line with new research findings. You are communicative with a good ability to create and maintain positive relationships with colleagues. You enjoy meeting pet owners in various situations and understand the importance of maintaining good customer relations. You are interested in teaching and participating in creating good conditions for research. You know that an event-driven operation with irregular working hours is something you can handle.
As a person, you are positive with a solution-focused approach, structured, can handle occasionally pressured situations, have good self-awareness, and a willingness to contribute to the organization.
