We are looking for a registered nurse/nurse practitioner for Surahammar Health Center.
We are seeking a registered nurse/nurse practitioner for Surahammar Health Center.
We prefer candidates who are registered nurses, but you may also apply if you are a nurse with experience in primary care. If you have training and expertise in areas such as diabetes, incontinence, dementia, or asthma/COPD, it is considered a merit.
As a registered nurse/nurse practitioner with us, the work is highly varied and includes telephone counseling/chat, outpatient work with both scheduled and urgent visits. The role involves a significant degree of independence, while also requiring the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Praktikertjänst Health Center in Surahammar is located in the heart of Västmanland, centrally situated with proximity to both train and bus services. Our modern facilities are centrally located in Surahammar, adjacent to Surahammar Folkets hus on the opposite side of the square. We have easy access to lunch restaurants and share premises with a modern gym.
We serve approximately 9,000 registered patients and accommodate all professions associated with a health center under one roof.
We are a training health center that educates future doctors, specialists in general medicine, and medical interns for specialist training, nurses, and nurse practitioners.

We are a wonderful and cheerful group that collaborates well within a stable team of 28 employees.
Our medical team is stable, consisting of 4 permanently employed family physicians, 5 resident physicians, and 1-2 interns.
We have 3 nurse practitioners, 5 nurses, and 1 nursing assistant.
