Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into four close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and emergency medical services have been integrated under the framework of good and close care. Each close care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the close care department Näva, all of which are publicly funded.

Responsibilities

Working as a district nurse at Bräcke Health Center involves traditional tasks typically found at a health center, such as:

  • Reception duties
  • Telephone consultations
  • Working in a team with doctors and other staff at our urgent care clinic

Depending on your educational background and interests, there may also be opportunities to specialize in certain areas, such as:

  • A coordination role for close care
  • Diabetes
  • Pediatrics
  • COPD nurse

Qualifications

  • Licensed nurse with additional training as a district nurse.
  • You have a genuine interest in people and prioritize patient care.
  • We expect you, together with your colleagues, to contribute your expertise and provide a positive experience for patients to ensure the best possible care.
  • You are comfortable in your professional role, engaged, and contribute to a positive work environment, demonstrating initiative and a sense of responsibility.
  • Experience with similar tasks is advantageous.
