Then we welcome your application! **Job Responsibilities** At the healthcare center, you will meet patients of all ages and varying needs as a district nurse or a registered nurse with experience in primary care. No two days are alike, and the work involves a variety of tasks throughout the day and week. You will have your own scheduled consultations, on-call services, and drop-in sessions where you will meet patients with acute symptoms. You will also provide telephone consultations, health talks, and digital visits via 1177 Direct. The position also offers opportunities for specialist assignments in areas such as memory teams, asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, discharge coordination, and more. In the fall of 2023, we opened our drop-in clinic where nurses work in a team alongside other nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors. This is one of several improvement initiatives that are an important part of our daily work and that increase accessibility for our patients. **About the Workplace** The 11 region-operated healthcare centers in Västmanland, along with the healthcare centers' on-call services, operate as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner.
