Your Workplace Skoghall Healthcare Center is Värmland's third-largest healthcare center with approximately 17,000 listed patients and around 50 committed employees. We work closely together in teams and have strong collaboration with Hammarö Municipality, especially regarding our most vulnerable elderly patients. We are proud of our physician group with 7 district physicians and 5 specialist trainees. Our healthcare center welcomes students from various professional categories and offers excellent research opportunities – currently, three of our physicians are conducting part-time research. Following our latest SPUR review, we received excellent ratings for our specialist training. We value continuous professional development and have regular physician forums where we share knowledge and develop together. Your Responsibilities As a district physician with us, you will work with both planned and acute reception, as well as some on-call and standby duty. The work also includes child healthcare, maternity care, home healthcare, and special housing. We have a shared daily on-call system where we help each other create a sustainable work environment and high patient safety. You will become part of a committed team where we collectively prioritize and plan patient work. Mentoring specialist trainees, medical interns, and new physicians is an important part of your assignment. Your Skills and Competencies We are seeking a specialist in general medicine or with other relevant specialist competence; experience in primary care is meritorious. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have a good approach, appreciate continuity, and value collaboration. You are flexible, clear, and structured in your work method, with a good ability to work both independently and in teams. You are driven to contribute to development and improvement work and have a commitment to creating quality in patient interactions.
