Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers during evenings and weekends, and a General Medicine Training Center. Vårdcentralen Lyckorna is located in Motala and currently has approximately 16,000 registered patients. The health center offers a medical clinic, specialist nursing consultations, a nursing clinic, child health care, psychosocial expertise, foot care, and a laboratory. We also manage several elderly care facilities.

Job Description
We are looking for a specialist in general medicine for our medical clinic who values a stimulating and independent work environment in a developing setting.
The position includes typical duties within the primary care assignment such as medical consultations, child health care, and consultations with home care and special accommodations. To some extent, the scope and distribution of these tasks can be tailored to your individual interests. You will be part of emergency duty, both in a shared primary care emergency center and in the backup on-call line. A portion of your working hours will be dedicated to mentoring less experienced colleagues, such as medical interns and students. This will be scheduled time within your work hours.
Work Group
We are about 70 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. We have a strong collaborative relationship with our healthcare neighbors, both within Region Östergötland and the municipality. We have a development-inspired approach and conduct extensive primary care services. The medical clinic currently consists of specialist physicians, resident physicians, and junior doctors in training.
At our health centers, you will find medical consultations, nursing consultations, specialist nursing consultations, nursing assistant consultations, child health care, psychosocial expertise, foot care, elderly care consultations, and a laboratory.

About You
You are a specialist in general medicine with prior experience in primary care. You hold a Swedish medical license (to be attached to your application) and possess Swedish language skills equivalent to the level of Swedish C1. Since you will be in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other organizations, it is essential that you have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
As a person, you are self-assured, have good collaborative skills with others in the team, are efficient, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You demonstrate good judgment and enjoy teamwork. You are humble and communicate clearly. We value your ability to meet different people according to their needs. Personal qualities are highly regarded.
