We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and commitment, where both breadth and specialized expertise are valued. Here, you'll have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you're new to the profession or have extensive experience. Primary Care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organized into 4 local healthcare areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under the "good and close care" model. Each local healthcare area is an economic unit led by a unit manager. Primary Care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the local care ward Näva, which are all grant-funded. Frösö Health Center is a workplace with wonderful colleagues and dedicated unit managers with good routines. It's a pleasant, well-functioning workplace located near Gustavsbergsbacken for those wanting an evening ski run after work. Our team includes district physicians, residency and training physicians, district nurses, nurses, diabetes nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and physiotherapists. Additionally, we have a family center with maternity care, child healthcare, and open preschool, as well as a psychosocial clinic. We are over 50 fantastic employees and 2 committed unit managers who together offer patient-focused care to approximately 11,300 listed patients. We are staff with both specialized and broad competencies, and our workplace is characterized by a positive atmosphere and strong team spirit. Care is provided based on the health choice model developed by the Jämtland County region. We work in person-centered teams with Close Care to meet the needs of patients who need us most. Welcome to Frösö Health Center! We are now seeking a new colleague and specialist in general medicine to join our team and contribute their expertise! WORK TASKS Working with us as a general medicine specialist involves standard reception work, home visits, and digital consultations when needed. Scheduling includes being a question doctor without booked patients for approximately one to two half-days per week to answer questions from all professional groups, enabling a more uninterrupted reception at other times. You have the opportunity to adapt your daily schedule according to your preferences, including administrative time with the possibility of remote work in consultation with your immediate supervisor. We have physician meetings for two hours per week and regular further education in the form of training days five days per year. These days help create a strong general medicine community in the region. Additionally, you'll be offered a place in an FQ group for group-based further education and reflection five days per year.
