PhD-level Officer with expertise in Women's Health sought for the SRHR Unit at the Center for Epidemiology and Community Medicine, SLSO Do you want to contribute to better public health in Stockholm County with a focus on women's sexual and reproductive health and rights – while also further developing your expertise? About the position: The Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) unit is responsible for the region's public health work within SRHR and collaborates closely with Karolinska Institutet. You will be part of a team of officers, doctors, statisticians, and a unit manager. One of the unit's focus areas is women's health, which includes both gynecological diseases and maternity care. We work broadly with epidemiological mapping, interventions, and other initiatives aimed at healthcare and other public health actors. As an officer, you will lead development work in women's health, including interventions and support measures. You will analyze and interpret quantitative data in close collaboration with statisticians and author reports and scientific texts. The position is a permanent employment. There are good opportunities for part-time employment, for example, in combination with clinical service or research. Several of our employees are active researchers. Qualifications PhD and good knowledge of Swedish healthcare Extensive research experience, primarily in quantitative methods and/or intervention research You have strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious Clinical experience in SRHR care Work experience in epidemiological monitoring and/or development work within SRHR As a person, you are driven and engaged, aiming to achieve results while valuing collaboration and functioning well in a team. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and are open to developing work methods together with the unit. You are flexible and enjoy varied tasks.
