Are you an analytical and strategic leader with experience in guiding other managers through change? With us, you will take on a responsible role leading an operational area and participating in the National Board of Health and Welfare's efforts to develop Swedish healthcare and social services.
About the position
Due to the expanding mission of the National Board of Health and Welfare, we are now establishing a new organization consisting of four operational areas that are organizationally placed directly under the Director General. For Development, Support, and Preparedness, we are seeking a Director who will be responsible for driving development and knowledge management within the area in line with the authority's new strategic direction and common priorities.
Within the operational area, responsibilities include digitalization, communication, legal governance and support, HR, finance, registration, procurement, efficient premises, and security issues. Additionally, the operational area is responsible for the National Board of Health and Welfare's work on preparedness and civil defense. Through the competencies of the operational area, conditions are created for the authority's work in healthcare, dental care, and social services to effectively reach its target groups.
Digital development creates opportunities to streamline our work and make our knowledge accessible, usable, and tailored to target groups. Therefore, a digitalization department will be established within the operational area. Central to your role will be realizing the opportunities of digitalization and coordinating needs, priorities, and development work across the entire authority.
As the Operational Director, you will report directly to the Director General and be part of the authority's management team.
