At the social services department in Helsingborg, we are on a continuous journey towards a more digital, smart, and efficient organization. We meet residents who need support and see that various forms of technology facilitate accessibility and also aid our colleagues in the department. As a Digitalization Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated and skilled team within the department's staff. Here, you will join a team with various professional roles, including a digital strategist, system administrator, and system officer. The team also includes lawyers, investigators, operational controllers, various coordinator roles, and secretaries for the management board and committees. Together, we contribute to the social committee's mission to enable residents who need social support to become independent in life so they can take an active part in society. Job Responsibilities In the role of Digitalization Coordinator, you will be an important link between operations, technology, and strategy. You will: • Serve as a sounding board and advisor on issues related to digitalization, systems, hardware, and software • Participate in city-wide forums, such as the e-government forum • Implement new solutions, both technical systems and digital tools • Train employees and managers and contribute to increased digital maturity within the organization • Work with system administration and some administration related to digital tools • Identify needs, pinpoint areas for improvement, and contribute creative and cost-effective solutions • Optimize existing resources and ensure that technology is used effectively • Collaborate closely with operations and tailor support based on different needs and conditions • Contribute to development in line with the city's and department's strategic direction • Have an understanding of information security, data management, and GDPR (preferred) • Be part of the department's digital team, where we support each other, share knowledge, and find solutions together What We Offer We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal development. Qualification Requirements • Post-secondary education or other training deemed equivalent by the employer • Good understanding of IT in general and the digital workplace • Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing • Documented experience in data management and information security • Experience in conducting training or supporting others in technical matters • Knowledge of procurement, contracts, and experience from politically governed organizations is preferred We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
