As a Digitalization and Preparedness Lawyer, you will play a central role in ensuring that our organization complies with current regulations related to digitalization and civil defense. You will be responsible for:
The position belongs to the Security and Preparedness Unit within the Municipal Executive Administration, comprising around 10 employees. This unit holds Östersund Municipality’s strategic coordination responsibilities for operational protection, crime prevention, and civil preparedness.
The role is crucial for ensuring the municipality is a safe and secure workplace and that services function effectively in all situations. You will closely collaborate with all committees within the municipality, as well as with other societal actors. You will also support other sectors in areas such as safety, crime prevention, information security, data protection, insurance, and compensation as needed. In your role, you will independently carry out the assignments and activities you plan for the municipality. The job also involves a degree of administration. Since the role is largely event-driven, planned activities may need to be postponed in favor of managing ongoing incidents.

It is also important to build strong collaborative relationships with others, both within and outside the organization.
Employment will require security clearance and placement in security class 2.
