About us
Operational and Technical Development is a strategic support function within E.ON that supports our power and heat facilities in Malmö, Örebro, Norrköping, and Stockholm. We are a committed team with deep expertise in technology, OT, and IT. Together, we create solutions that simplify everyday life, strengthen our ways of working, and contribute to a secure and sustainable energy supply. We are currently enhancing our digital capability through new roles and competences, aiming to make data, AI, and innovation a natural part of the district heating business's operations.
Your role
As Digital Lead, you will have a strategic and operational key role in leading digitalization within energy production. You will drive efforts to identify opportunities in automation, AI, data analysis, and new digital business models while engaging colleagues to explore and utilize digital solutions in their daily work.
You will have overall responsibility for developing and anchoring our digital strategy in line with the company's goals, coordinating initiatives between operations, IT, and external partners, and ensuring that decisions are based on data and insights. By combining strategic thinking with practical implementation, you will lead digital initiatives from idea to execution. You will also contribute to building a culture where digital working methods and new technologies are seen as essential tools in everyday life.
The position is located in Malmö.
Your experiences
We are looking for someone with experience in driving digitalization in complex organizations, preferably with an academic background in technology or IT. You have a good understanding of technologies such as AI, IoT, data analysis, and cloud services, and thrive in a role where you can combine strategy with practical implementation.

You have a holistic perspective, dare to try new approaches, and have the ability to turn ideas into concrete initiatives.
