Region Östergötland is responsible for healthcare, dental care, public transport, and regional development in Östergötland.
The organization is politically governed and is the largest employer in the county, with approximately 13,700 employees.
The position is located within the digital communication unit, which, together with the planned communication and media unit, serves as the region's specialist function in communication.

Your focus will be on execution – capturing the needs of various operations, translating them into clear and relevant communication, and writing and publishing content that reaches the target audience.
Job Description
You will work operationally with digital communication, primarily on Region Östergötland's external websites and intranet. You have experience in editing, publishing, and ongoing maintenance of websites, as well as knowledge of search engine optimization and familiarity with various tools for analysis and follow-up.
Work Group
You will work in a web team. In your role, you will also collaborate closely with other communicators and specialists in the communication unit, as well as web editors and experts in the various operations of Region Östergötland.
About You
You thrive in a broad role that both advises and supports operationally. You have a strong ability to write for the web and understand how content needs to be adapted to be accessible, audience-appropriate, and effective in digital channels. With engagement and confidence, you facilitate dialogue with clients and colleagues, helping others see the opportunities of digital communication and guiding them on how messages can be best formulated and published.

We are looking for someone with a university degree in communication and information or other education that we deem equivalent. We see that you have several years of current experience in operational communication work, where work with web and digital channels has been a significant part. In this role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
It is an advantage if you have worked with web communication in a larger organization or operation, preferably in a regional and politically governed entity, and have experience and knowledge of working in accordance with laws regulating web communication in public operations (such as the Accessibility Act, GDPR, Language Act).
Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have experience with Sitevision as a CMS and have worked with web analysis and analysis tools. We see that you may contribute content to other digital channels, and it is positive if you have previous experience working with social media.
The role involves many points of contact and coordination, which requires you to be communicative, receptive, and able to collaborate well with others. You have a flexible working approach, are solution-focused, and come up with ideas and suggestions on how to develop the work. You have the ability to maintain a broader perspective and see the whole picture of a website and can initiate work to improve and optimize it together with management, colleagues, experts, and web editors.
You have a strong interest and commitment to societal issues in general and communication in digital channels in particular. You are curious about digital trends and understand how the web and its content can strengthen brand and communication.
