We are now looking for a creative and dedicated International Student Ambassador at Campus Gotland to assist in promoting the university through our digital platforms. Our target audience is prospective international students.
**Job Responsibilities**
As part of the team of digital ambassadors, your role will be to promote and disseminate knowledge about Uppsala University internationally, in consultation with the Department of International Mobility. You will work as a "content creator," planning, creating, and publishing content on our digital platforms. The digital ambassadors take turns managing our Instagram account @studyatuu, which aims to showcase daily life as an international student in Visby. Your job will be to inspire and support future students and to answer their questions so they can make the best decision possible about their future. You will also produce blog posts for our blog StudyatUU, where you will write about topics related to life as an international student in Sweden. You are also expected to create content for our YouTube channel.
**Qualifications**
To apply for this position, you must be an international student enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program and registered at Uppsala University for the entire academic year 2025–2026. You must be able to communicate fluently in English. You must be a student on-site at the Visby campus.
**Desirable/Additional Qualifications**
You have experience with social media and writing that you can showcase, and you possess strong oral presentation skills. In the selection process, we will place significant emphasis on personal skills such as creativity, writing ability, capacity to work independently, and organizational skills.
**About the Employment**
You will be employed as a teaching assistant. The employment is temporary according to HF Chapter 5 § 12. You will be hired for each specific assignment and receive financial compensation per hour. The scope is approximately 60-70 hours per academic year. Location: Uppsala/Visby. Start date: January 2026 or as agreed. Place of work: Visby.
