About the position
We are now offering two positions - one part-time position and a temporary position during a colleague's study period. One position is located at the Specialist Clinic for Children and Adolescents, where we meet patients with various diagnoses, including allergies, familial hypercholesterolemia, and eating disorders. The other position is at the National Center for Pediatric Obesity, where children and adolescents from across the region are referred, often with complex care needs and comorbidities. Combined lifestyle intervention is the foundation of our treatment, but we also offer pharmacological treatment and bariatric surgery when necessary.
We possess high competence, both through clinical experience and research. There are good opportunities to participate in or lead research projects. We are also actively working to develop digital tools to better reach young people and their families.
As a dietitian at the Specialist Clinic for Children and Adolescents or the National Center for Pediatric Obesity, you will belong to the Clinical Nutrition Section for Children within the Health Professions at Karolinska University Hospital. In Clinical Nutrition for Children, you will be part of a dietitian team where we share a common overall responsibility across the hospital's various areas. Therefore, your duties may vary over time as needed.
Your main responsibilities will include, among others:
- Following patients in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Receiving and supervising dietetic students.
- Contributing to and participating in current development projects and research.
- Lecturing and educating, including healthcare staff, patient groups, and students.
You will work according to the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) in all nutritional treatments and use evidence-based methods for assessment, interventions, follow-up, and evaluation.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed dietitian with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare.
- Clinical experience as a dietitian in pediatric settings where you have worked with children facing relevant issues based on the clinic's focus.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
- Master's degree or higher academic education.
