Lycksele Hospital is a small, well-equipped acute care hospital, and we are now seeking a Dietitian for the Medical Center of Southern Lapland and the Medical Outpatient Clinic. By working in a smaller hospital, you will be part of a strong community, expertise, and drive. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop, become independent, and collaborate with skilled colleagues.
At the Medical Outpatient Clinic, we provide services in the areas of cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology, pulmonary diseases, anticoagulation, and physiotherapy. We also have a well-developed team approach in cardiac care, diabetes, COPD, and diagnostic centers.
In the outpatient services, nurses, nursing assistants, secretaries, social workers, dietitians, and podiatrists work together.
As a dietitian with us, you will work in both inpatient and outpatient care at the Medical Center of Southern Lapland and the Surgical Center of Southern Lapland.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a dietitian with us, you play an important role in improving people's health and quality of life through qualified nutritional treatment.
Your work will involve meeting patients in the ward and at the outpatient clinic, conducting in-depth assessments of energy and nutrient intake, and providing individualized dietary advice, with the goal of preventing undernutrition and creating optimal conditions for recovery and rehabilitation. This work often involves collaboration with other professional groups, where the dietitian also serves as a support to the healthcare staff on various nutritional issues.
The role also includes advising patients and relatives via phone, as well as recommending and prescribing dietary supplements.
We have close collaboration with other staff members, and you will be part of a team alongside another dietitian.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed dietitian.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, resourceful, and capable of planning and prioritizing your work in a structured manner. You possess strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and are confident in your professional role.
Since the work involves close collaboration with many different professional groups, we see that you are easy to work with, attentive, positive, and contribute to a good working atmosphere. You also have an interest in development work and want to contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Experience in specialized care is an advantage.
