We are now seeking a licensed nurse with further education in diabetes for a full-time position at the health center in Askersund. The health center is part of the Area of Close Care. This area includes about 2,400 employees across eleven different operational areas. Close care encompasses care that is common, frequently occurring, and geographically close to patients. The area includes primary care services with health centers, health center emergency services, youth clinics, medical advice, asylum and immigrant health, specialized care at the region's three hospitals, and geriatric clinics, as well as services in habilitation and assistive devices. Diabetes Nurse for Askersund Health Center Responsibilities In the role of diabetes nurse, you have independent responsibility for following up and treating patients with type 2 diabetes. You will work in your own clinic, where patient education, lifestyle counseling, insulin adjustment, and follow-up are central components. You collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other professional categories to provide good and cohesive care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in improvement work and the development of our routines and working methods—your experience and ideas are valuable to us! Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with further education in diabetes care. You have good clinical experience, preferably from primary care, and feel secure in your professional role. You are accustomed to working independently but also appreciate teamwork. You have a structured working method, good communication skills, and a patient-centered approach. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
