As a Detail Planner at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have a central role in the production process and be responsible for ensuring that materials, resources, and planning are in place for smooth and efficient production. You will work in SAP creating and following up on production plans, analyzing outcomes, and planning upcoming weeks based on capacity, forecast, and sales projections. The role combines operational planning work with participation in strategic discussions to optimize production. A typical workday involves preparing data for morning meetings, following up on outcomes against plans in daily steering meetings, and coordinating with material planners and the production team. You will manage changes, ensure that process orders in SAP are correctly updated, and make sure all production steps are in sync, which ensures smooth production and deliveries that meet expectations. You will receive an introduction with a mentor and training documents, and over time become more independent in your work. The team consists of detail planners, material planners, and main planners, all with extensive experience in production and planning. It is a tight-knit team where support is always available, and where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. The team works closely with production, which gives you a good understanding of the entire flow from planning to delivery, while becoming a key person in ensuring that production delivers on time and with high quality. This is a consultant assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Thermo Fisher Scientific. The assignment is part-time and covers 20-30 hours per week, distributed over 4-5 workdays, and is expected to continue until the end of May. We offer - Meaningful work in an international organization where your ideas and initiatives are valued - An exciting role where you gain insight into the entire production and planning process - Work at an organization that our current consultants describe as a fantastic workplace WORK TASKS Work Tasks * Create and follow up on production plans in SAP based on actual outcomes, available capacity, and sales forecasts * Participate in daily steering meetings and T-board meetings with the production team to follow up on status, deviations, and priorities * Plan production for upcoming weeks and manage changes through close collaboration with production and material planners * Work according to established routines, processes, and instructions to ensure correct and efficient production planning * Contribute to continuous improvements by proposing ideas and supporting team development WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Can work 20-30 hours per week, distributed over 4-5 days - the role does not require you to be a student, so you can have another primary occupation - Have experience in material or production planning, logistics, or other supply chain-related roles acquired from work or studies - Have experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems - Are very comfortable with Swedish and English in both speech and writing as required to perform the work You are meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious, with a drive to solve problems and ensure smooth production.
