Ödeshög Municipality is located in southwestern Östergötland, with Omberg in the north, Lake Vättern in the west, the fertile Östergötland plains in the east, and the deep forests of Holaveden in the south. The E4 highway runs through the municipality, making it easy to reach both Linköping and Jönköping within 40 minutes by car. Ödeshög Municipality has approximately 5,400 residents, and with around 400 permanent employees across four different administrative departments, the municipality is the largest employer in the area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a work consultant with us, you will have a varied and meaningful role, working both at the individual level and on strategic development. You will, among other things: Develop and maintain the municipality's strategies to reduce unemployment. Create trusting relationships and support individuals on their path to self-sufficiency. Collaborate with employers and partners such as the Employment Agency, Social Insurance Agency, schools, and social services. Participate in the development of the labor market unit and contribute to quality improvement. Document, follow up, and report back to stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS Personal suitability is crucial to success in this role. We are seeking candidates who have: University degree in pedagogy, social work, social sciences, or a similar field as deemed appropriate by the employer Knowledge of the Swedish labor market Good computer skills B driver's license Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Previous experience in similar work or other relevant professional experience is meritorious.
