Your Role The Missiles Subsystems Program within the Business Unit Missile Systems is responsible for all customer contracts within our portfolio. The operations are conducted in an international arena with close collaboration with international customers and partners across all our products. As interest in our systems grows, we need to strengthen our team. As an Assistant Contract Manager, you will oversee our contractual commitments to the customer and ensure that all terms are met so that we can successfully deliver customer contracts on time and within budget. Initiating, maintaining, and developing relationships, both internally and with customers and partners, is an important part of the job. The Assistant Contract Manager will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that delivery commitments are met on time and within budget. The work is performed in a team, and you will collaborate closely with the Contract Manager, project managers, line managers, and other functions and teams within the Business Unit to secure business execution and develop future business opportunities. You will work with experienced professionals, customers, and suppliers in an environment that emphasizes the necessity of close collaboration among various roles, functions, and partners. You will be part of the PU Partner Programs within the Business Unit Missile Systems, where Contract Managers are located in Linköping. For this role, your workplace will be in Linköping. Close cooperation also occurs with Marketing & Sales and Commercial & Business Support within the Business Unit Missile Systems, especially during the Winning Business process. Your Profile We are looking for someone with well-developed leadership skills who combines commercial, technical, and business experience, preferably in an international context. You possess strong negotiation skills and a natural sense of diplomacy, while also demonstrating drive, integrity, and a high level of personal maturity. You have a clear ability to motivate and inspire both teams and individuals, and you build relationships through excellent networking and communication skills. As a confident communicator in both Swedish and English, you share information clearly and relevantly, both verbally and in writing. We believe you have a university or college degree. The role requires a driver's license and a willingness to travel, both within Sweden and internationally. It is advantageous if you have relevant international experience from the defense industry in a similar role, especially if you have worked on translating customer needs or requirements into concrete functions and activities.
