About the Role
As a Demand Planner, you will play a key role in forecasting demand, analyzing sales patterns, and ensuring the right balance between inventory and production. You will work closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, production, and supply chain to create efficient and accurate planning processes.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts based on historical data, seasonal trends, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and verify forecast data.
• Monitor forecast precision and continuously improve models and methods.
• Translate forecasts into concrete production plans to ensure availability and minimize excess inventory.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and propose proactive solutions.
• Participate in S&OP processes and prepare regular reports and insights for management.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
• Has a relevant university degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or equivalent.
• Has at least 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management – preferably from manufacturing industry or kitchen production.
• Is proficient in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and preferably planning tools like NetSuite, Anaplan, or Kinaxis.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English.
• Is structured, curious, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Meriting Factors
• Experience with "made-to-order" or semi-customized product manufacturing.
• Familiarity with kitchen, furniture, or interior design industry.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodology.
