Technical Sub-Project Manager

Your Role As a sub-project manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving sub-projects, primarily through the development phase to production. You will plan, coordinate resources, track schedules, costs, and deliverables, and report the sub-project's status to the main project management. The role involves creating structure, driving progress, and ensuring project goals are met. You will play a central role in collaboration between technology and project management, serving as a link between technical management, main project management, and other departments. The products are typically flight safety or mission-critical, such as control systems and computers. As a sub-project manager, you will have overall responsibility for a sub-project or subsystem regarding results and internal deliveries to the project. Our projects are carefully managed by our business system and development processes, which are adapted for flight safety-critical systems with a strong focus on safety, availability, and quality. You will belong to the Engineering organization and its Technical Lead section in Huskvarna, which has approximately 5 employees focused on technical project management. Your Profile We are seeking someone who takes great responsibility and has the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational action. You have strong collaboration skills, good business understanding, and a flexible, communicative work approach. To succeed in the role, your leadership skills, drive, and initiative are crucial. We welcome someone with a genuine interest in leading, developing, and challenging both the organization and our employees. Since you will closely collaborate with several departments, it is important that you have good technical understanding and can communicate about technical issues. We are looking for someone who has: * An engineering degree in technology/industrial economics or equivalent * Experience working in a similar role such as project manager, development lead, project engineer, project responsible, business developer, development engineer, or product owner, preferably in the industry * Good English skills, as it is the group language * Experience working with complex projects and their sub-projects It is meritorious if you have knowledge in electronics or software development, and previous experience driving projects with a high focus on safety. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security protection regulations.
