About the Position
At FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), the Fighter Aircraft Business Area is responsible for all activities related to JAS 39 Gripen, both for the Swedish Armed Forces and our export customers. Export operations are conducted in project form, and we are now seeking Sub-Project Managers in the logistics area.
As a Sub-Project Manager for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), you will work in a project team focused on delivering support and logistics solutions to Gripen export operators. In this work, you will collaborate within FMV and with the customer, Swedish Armed Forces, and industry to solve tasks. You will serve as the interface towards the export customer and as a client within the FMV organization and towards subcontractors.
The position is located in Stockholm or Linköping. Both domestic and international travel are part of the job.
About You
You have an academic education or equivalent education and/or competence acquired in another way, such as a technical officer with experience in aircraft maintenance and operations.
You have several years of experience working with aircraft maintenance or sustaining aircraft material systems, preferably JAS 39 Gripen. Furthermore, you should have experience working in leading positions within projects or similar work forms.
To function in the organization, you also need knowledge of principles and structures for maintenance systems and organizations related to flying material systems.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of maintenance systems and organization for the Gripen system, as well as knowledge of our regulations, RML/EMAR and their application.
Experience with international work, preferably within the aviation field, is meritorious. We also view experience in management, planning, public procurement, and production follow-up positively.
