We are looking for a Delivery Operating Manager at Mathem!
As a Delivery Operating Manager with us, you will take overall responsibility for the operational operations during your shift. You will lead our team of drivers and Driver Team Leads in the final, crucial link – delivery to the customer’s home. This role is for you if you love building teams, optimizing logistics, and ensuring high quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do as a Delivery Operating Manager:
• Overall responsibility for operational activities during your shift.
• Personnel responsibility and management of up to 60 employees (drivers and Driver Team Leads).
• Monitor and promote engagement, work environment, and manage absenteeism data on site.
• Responsible for shift planning, rolling shifts in accordance with labor laws, approving hours, and route assignments (weekdays/weekends).
• Ensure availability is updated to meet capacity needs.
• Continuously monitor health, safety, quality, and efficiency during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and that procedures, including our Code of Conduct, are followed across all shifts.
• Implement and continuously improve routines, processes, and standards in collaboration with the Driver Academy.
• Manage deviations that occur during the shift. This includes recording, actions, follow-up, and conducting root cause analysis.
• Conduct probationary and development conversations with employees in line with the procedures in our People system.
What you need to succeed:
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and guide others.
• Approachable, engaged, and supportive, creating trust within the driver teams.
• Structured and systematic in managing operations, compliance, and documentation.
• Results-driven and motivated by achieving ambitious goals.
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to new ideas, continuous improvements, and innovation in daily operations.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license - Class B.

Additional Information:
Employment Type: Permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period.
Working Hours: The working hours are primarily during office hours. In special circumstances, work in the evenings and weekends may occur to ensure continuity of operations.
Scope: Full-time (100%).
Location: Skagerack 12, 418 34 Gothenburg, Sweden.
Start Date: Immediate.
