ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking someone who wants to work broadly with work environment and safety, in the role of consultant for our corporate customers in southern Sweden. The position is based in Gothenburg.
At DEKRA, you'll have the opportunity to develop within a wide spectrum of work environment and safety services. We offer both shorter and longer assignments where you'll have the chance to build comprehensive broad and deep expertise. Through mentorship and coaching, we support your professional development and ensure you grow in your role.
You'll become part of an engaged and experienced team consisting of occupational safety engineers, environmental engineers, HSE specialists, and sustainability specialists from across the country - all ready to support you in your work and continued development.
Examples of assignments within the team:
• Development and implementation of systematic work environment management
• Introduction of management systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Machine safety and investigations for CE marking
• Process safety and ATEX investigations
• Participation in safety committees, safety rounds, and investigations
• Interim assignments in work environment, environmental, and sustainability areas
• Conducting training within work environment and sustainability
• Risk assessments and measurements of occupational hygiene limit values
• Internal audits and supplier evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCE & EXPERIENCE
We are seeking someone with previous experience of working dedicatedly with work environment and safety, preferably in a role where you have supported internally or customers within the work environment area. Additional experience from related roles is meritorious. Examples include Occupational Safety Engineer, EHS Specialist/Engineer, Process Engineer, Work Environment or Environmental Inspector, Safety Specialist.
We prefer candidates with a relevant university degree in areas such as work environment, environmental studies, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other technical or scientific disciplines. Alternatively, you have another educational background that, combined with work experience, provides equivalent competence.
