What will you do? At Svenska Spel, we work to create value with AI – for real. As a Data Scientist in the AI Enablement team, you'll work at the intersection of data, analysis, AI, and machine learning. From the first hypothesis to a solution that makes a real-world impact. Here, you'll analyze, model, and develop AI solutions that improve our products, customer experiences, and internal processes – always with sustainability and scalability in focus. In this role, you'll for example: • Design and train AI models – from classical methods to LLMs and semantic AI. • Explore generative AI to build smart solutions in decision support, automation, and content generation. • Develop prompt strategies, evaluation, and RAG solutions. • Transform data into insights and visualize them to drive the right decisions. • Collaborate closely with ML Engineers and product teams to unleash the power of AI. • Contribute to a robust and responsible AI ecosystem by developing tools, processes, and guidelines. You'll also have the chance to dive deep into what you like most – whether it's NLP, optimization, customer analysis, or something completely different within AI and data. Are you the one who will make it happen? To succeed in the role, we believe you have an analytical mind, curiosity about data, and a desire to turn insights into real results. You enjoy collaborating, driving development, and testing new ideas in practice. We believe you have: • Experience working with data analysis and machine learning in Python (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or similar). • Good understanding of the entire data science lifecycle – from data collection and analysis to modeling and evaluation. • Experience with SQL and data platforms (preferably BigQuery or equivalent). • Ability to communicate results in a way that creates understanding and engagement. • An academic background equivalent to at least five years of study in fields such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering physics, industrial economics, or similar engineering disciplines. It's meritorious if you also have: • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Knowledge of modern MLOps and experimentation environments (Vertex AI, MLflow, Airflow, or similar). • Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, or recommendation systems. • Interest in generative AI, language models, or semantic analysis – but with a focus on practical application.
