About the Workplace The position is located at the School and Leisure Administration's office. The office is part of the Administration and Legal Affairs division and works with issues such as document management, committee administration, legal matters, supervision of independent preschools, procurement, and more. Job Responsibilities In the role of Data Protection Coordinator, you will have a central function in the School and Leisure Administration, with extensive contacts both within the administration and with other city departments and to some extent the public. The position includes, among other things: • Providing support to the organization on data protection issues. • Being part of the administration's data protection and information security working group and responsible for organizing data protection work within the administration. • Managing the administration's register of personal data processing and handling personal data incidents. • Ensuring that necessary routines and instructions for data protection work exist within the administration. • Driving the work of developing impact assessments for personal data processing. • Handling requests from registered individuals on behalf of the data controller and assisting registered individuals in exercising their rights. • Training employees in the administration on data protection and personal data management. • Participating in the city-wide network for data protection issues. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a relevant college degree focused on data protection or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience working with data protection issues, a genuine interest in the area, and a desire to drive these issues in our various operations. Previous experience in similar work, preferably within a politically governed organization, is meritorious. To succeed in the role, you need to be self-driven, structured, and have strong analytical skills. You enjoy working both independently and in teams. You communicate easily in speech and writing and have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others. The work also requires you to be solution-oriented and able to create understanding, holistic view, and participation in data protection issues within the administration.
