Database Developer

Then this could be the role for you. About the position As a database developer, you will contribute to the development of our services and maintain existing systems. You will investigate, design, implement, and maintain data models, procedures, data access objects, and other database objects. You will have the opportunity to quality assure solutions to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements. Furthermore, you will maintain metadata and reference tables and work on ongoing performance optimization. You will work in an agile cross-functional development team where you support and receive support from one another. The team strives to be at the forefront of technology, and we work together to ensure quality in solutions before they are delivered to clients. About you You are curious, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in database development and technology. You enjoy collaborating, are not afraid to ask questions, and see every challenge as an opportunity to learn something new. It is natural for you to take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward. We are looking for someone who has: • A degree in computer science/IT or equivalent professional experience • At least one year of current experience in database development and data modeling in Oracle or PostgreSQL • Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have: • Current experience in software development • Current experience with transaction-intensive systems that handle large volumes of data • Current experience with version control, such as Liquibase or Flyway • Current experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
