The Culture and Education Administration aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our young and older citizens need throughout the various stages of life. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments - the School Department and the Preschool and Culture and Leisure Department. The School Department encompasses all forms of schooling from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health services. The Preschool Department includes all of the municipality's preschools and family day care providers, while Culture and Leisure consists of libraries, the culture school, and youth leisure activities.

Munkedal Culture School is an important player in the municipal children's and educational activities and is part of the Culture and Education Administration.
The music section offers instruction on most common instruments, and in addition, there are term courses in dance, musical theater, and drama. We take pride in the fact that all activities at the Culture School are free of charge.
At the Culture School, you will work in a small team in close collaboration, where you have significant opportunities to influence the content. The Culture School currently consists of four music teachers, including the culture school leader, and one cultural educator. In connection with a parental leave, we are now seeking a substitute from January 26, 2024, to December 26, 2024, with the possibility of extension.

Job Description:
You will independently plan and conduct dance courses for students in the early years of primary school. In collaboration with your colleagues at the culture school, you will participate in meetings regarding your activities and pedagogical issues. You will be responsible for dance groups at the municipality's various F-9 schools.
Any school holiday activities will be conducted in collaboration with the library and Ung Fritid, the municipality's youth activities. We are looking for someone who has:
- A post-secondary education of at least two years with a focus on musical theater, dance, and/or drama.
- Experience leading dance groups and/or guiding children in similar activities.
If you are accustomed to working pedagogically and independently while also possessing good collaboration skills and responsiveness, a rewarding assignment awaits you!
