With us, you have the opportunity to inspire and motivate children to engage in dance activities, while gaining experience and credentials in leadership and group management. Dance, play, and spread joy to the children. It can't get any more fun! This job is also perfect to combine with studies or other jobs.
We at Active Academy are now looking for leaders for FunkyKidz!
We are looking for someone who:
- Loves working with children
- Has rhythm and a sense of movement in their body and loves dance
- Has experience leading activities for children, preferably younger children, or has a strong sports background and has been a leader for children in another context (e.g., preschool, school, babysitting)
- Is expected to show great commitment to creating joy in movement for the participating children.
As a person, you are confident and secure in yourself!
What is FunkyKidz?
At FunkyKidz, we mix dance and play in a playful and fun way. We work from a ready-made session plan, which means that all choreographies and games are pre-planned. As a leader, you can then focus all your energy on spreading wonderful dance joy!
As a leader, you will receive coaching throughout the term, participate in a leadership training, and be part of a fantastic leadership team of over 300 leaders. You will simply have the world's most fun part-time job, providing you with experience and credentials in working with children's groups.
Employment Information:
- Part-time employment
- The work will take place during spring 2026, starting in week 5.
- Sessions are scheduled for Sundays from 3 PM to 5 PM at Centrumhuset.

MERIT: You are welcome to be studying for (or have completed) a preschool teacher or similar qualification. Ideally, you have attended an aesthetic program in high school, worked as a group fitness instructor, or have other dance training or similar experience. This is not a requirement to apply; you may still have the right personality.
