With us, you have the opportunity to inspire and motivate children to engage in dance activities while gaining valuable experience and credentials in leadership and group management. Dance, play, and spread joy to the children – it doesn't get much better than this! The job is also perfect to combine with studies or other jobs.
At Active Academy, we are currently seeking leaders for FunkyKidz!
We are looking for individuals who:
- Love working with children
- Have rhythm and a natural sense of dance
- Have experience leading activities for children, preferably younger children, or have a strong sports background and have been a leader for children in another context (e.g., preschool, school, babysitting)
- Are expected to show great commitment to creating joy in movement for the participating children.
As a person, you are confident and secure in yourself!
What is FunkyKidz?
At FunkyKidz, we mix dance and play in a fun and playful way. We work from a prepared session plan, which means that all choreographies and games are pre-planned. As a leader, you can then focus all your energy on spreading wonderful dance joy!
As a leader, you will receive coaching throughout the term, participate in a leadership training program, and be part of a fantastic team of over 300 leaders. You will simply have the world's most fun part-time job that provides you with experience and credentials in working with children's groups.
Employment information:
• Part-time employment
• Work will take place during spring 2026, starting in week 5.
• Sessions are scheduled on weekdays between 5 PM - 7 PM or during the day on weekends.
• Approximately 1-3 hours per week.

MERIT: It is preferable if you are studying to become (or have completed) a preschool teacher or a similar qualification. You may have completed an aesthetic program in high school, worked as a group fitness instructor, or have other dance training or similar experience. This is not a requirement to apply; you may still have the right personality.
