With us, you will have the most enjoyable part-time job that allows you to inspire and motivate children to engage in dance activities, as well as gain experience and credentials in leadership and group management. Dance, play, and spread joy to the children. It couldn't be more fun! The job is also perfect to combine with studies or other jobs.
We at Active Academy are now looking for leaders for FunkyKidz!
We are looking for individuals who:
- Love working with children
- Have rhythm and a natural sense of timing and love dance
- Have experience leading activities for children, preferably younger children, or have a strong sports background and have been a leader for children in another context (e.g., preschool, school, babysitting)
- Are expected to show great commitment to creating joy in movement for the participating children.
As a person, you are confident and secure in yourself!
What is FunkyKidz?
At FunkyKidz, we mix dance and play in a fun and playful way. We work from a prepared session plan, which means that all choreographies and games are pre-planned. As a leader, you can then focus all your energy on spreading wonderful joy through dance!
As a leader, you will receive coaching throughout the term, participate in a leadership training program, and be part of an amazing leadership team of over 300 leaders. You will simply have the most enjoyable part-time job that provides you with experience and credentials in working with children's groups.
Information about the position:
- Part-time employment
- Work will take place during the spring of 2026, starting in week 5.
- Sessions are scheduled for Sundays from 3 PM to 5 PM at Tomtebergahallen.

MERIT: You are welcome to be studying for (or have completed) a preschool teacher degree or similar education. You may have attended an aesthetic program in high school, worked as a group fitness instructor, or have other dance training or similar experience. This is not a requirement to apply, as you may still possess the right personality.
