With us, you will have the most enjoyable part-time job that allows you to inspire and motivate children to engage in dance activities, while also gaining experience and credentials in leadership and group management. Dance, play, and spread joy to the children. It can't get any more fun! The job is also perfect to combine with studies or other jobs.
At Active Academy, we are now looking for leaders for FunkyKidz!
We are looking for you who:
- Loves working with children
- Has rhythm and a sense of movement in your body and loves dance
- Has experience leading activities for children, preferably younger children, or has a strong sports background and has been a leader for children in another context (e.g., preschool, school, babysitting)
- You are expected to show great commitment to creating joy in movement for the participating children.
As a person, you are confident and secure in yourself!
What is FunkyKidz?
At FunkyKidz, we mix dance and play in a playful and fun way. We work from a ready-made session plan that means all choreographies and games are pre-planned. As a leader, you can then focus all your energy on spreading wonderful joy in dance!
As a leader, you will receive coaching throughout the term, participate in a leadership training program, and be part of a fantastic leadership team of over 300 leaders. You will simply have the most fun part-time job that provides you with experience and credentials in working with children's groups.
Information about the employment:
- Part-time employment
- The work will take place during spring 2026, starting in week 5.
- Sessions are scheduled on Sundays from 10 AM to 12 PM at Torvalla Movement Room.

MERIT: You are welcome to be studying for (or have completed) a preschool teacher or similar education. You may have attended an aesthetic program in high school, worked as a group fitness instructor, or have other dance training or similar. This is not a requirement to apply; you can still have the right personality.
