You will collaborate with other teachers at the Cultural School in joint projects. In voluntary subject instruction, you will become an important player in our ongoing and exciting operational development work aimed at the cultural school of the future: A cultural school for everyone! We actively work to be accessible to children and young people with various functional variations and to be present in different locations throughout the municipality.
The work involves teaching dance, from beginner to advanced levels within the framework of the Cultural School's activities. Dance instruction is aimed at children and young people aged 5-19. You are expected to plan your dance lessons, communicate with guardians to some extent, and participate in various projects that the Cultural School does together with other teachers.
As a teacher with us, you will be part of a team consisting of dance, music, and theater teachers, where you are expected to be a participative and driving force in developing instruction both individually and in collaborative work. You will also teach in our Musical course together with other Cultural School teachers.
You will work with both course activities within the Cultural School's area and outward-facing work to reach new participants, for example through open activities, holiday programs, mobile activities, and forms adapted to participants' wishes. In this assignment, you will collaborate with Cultural School educators and various activities and departments. The position includes day and evening hours. Some weekend work occurs for certain projects.
Since the operation is based on children and young people's needs, the job content may change slightly as needed.
