JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a school nurse for the student health teams at Dackeskolan and Örmoskolan.
As a school nurse, you will be part of the schools' student health team, which consists of special educators, special needs teachers, school counselors, and school management. The organization also facilitates close collaboration with speech therapists and psychologists. In cooperation with the student health team and educators, you will contribute your medical expertise to promote students' well-being, safety, and academic development. You will play a significant role in the values-based work and in efforts to encourage school attendance.
Preventive and health-promoting student health work is central to this role. Health conversations, health examinations, vaccinations, and open clinics are some of the tasks of the school nurse in this context. There is a well-established and close collaboration within the municipality's school nurse group.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed nurse with specialized training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse.
You have a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as it is not possible to travel between the locations by bus.
Experience in the role of school nurse and/or experience in health promotion and preventive work in other settings is an advantage.
