For more information, visit our website www.eastcapital.group Job Overview This will be a combined role where you will work 50% with our oversight team as an oversight associate and 50% as a group corporate secretary. As an oversight associate, you will be responsible for the following: • Liaising with internal parties and external service providers to ensure all operational and product-related processes run smoothly. • Maintaining continuous contact with brokers, administrators, custodian banks, and outsourced back-office, as well as with the internal investment management and trading department teams. As a group corporate secretary, you will be responsible for the following: • Governance & Board Support. Ensuring board meetings are properly organized, documented, and compliant with regulatory requirements. This includes preparing agendas, minutes, and maintaining statutory records. • Regulatory Compliance. Acting as a key point for adherence to internal policies and external regulations, such as remuneration rules for Identified Staff and SwedSec licensing administration. • Policy & Documentation Oversight. Coordinating updates to codes of conduct and other governance frameworks, and ensuring these are communicated across the organization. • Administrative Coordination. Managing official filings, corporate registrations, and supporting HR-related governance processes (e.g., remuneration policy alignment). Profile – Who you are The ideal candidate will feel comfortable in a diversified role capable of tackling a range of activities, including participation in product-related projects as well as daily routine operations and static data maintenance. A technical and system-oriented background will allow you to take a positive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You need to be equally comfortable dealing with systems as well as individuals. Qualifications • Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience in financial services or investment companies is a must. • Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, board procedures, and regulatory compliance obligations. • Familiarity with financial regulations, remuneration policies for Identified Staff, and compliance standards relevant to East Capital’s operations. • Ability to uphold the Code of Business Conduct, ensuring ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive information. • Skilled in preparing board materials, maintaining statutory records, and coordinating official filings and reports. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with board members, senior management, and regulators. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under strict deadlines. • Commitment to East Capital Group’s values of transparency, responsibility, and positive change. • Experience working with depot accounts, fund trading platforms, investor services, and/or tied agents management. • University degree in finance, economics, or law. As a person, you are also meticulous in your work, accustomed to delivering according to deadlines, and service-oriented in your contact with both customers and colleagues.
