As a Financial Controller at the Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP), you play a central role in supporting management and operations. You will conduct analyses and prepare decision-making documentation. You will participate in developing and improving the agency's financial management function and have a coordinating role in preparing the agency's annual performance report. Furthermore, you will contribute to developing planning and follow-up processes related to the quarterly forecasts submitted to the government.
Additional tasks include creating investment calculations, making forecasts, preparing financial decision documentation for future investments, consulting on financial management and fees, performing calculations, and developing decision documentation for the agency's annual fee declaration work.
In your role, you will drive various change management initiatives and lead work groups based on needs within the financial management area.
Qualifications:
• Relevant university degree in economics or equivalent education/experience
• Current, relevant, and multi-year experience in qualified work in financial management, budgeting, analysis, and forecasting
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent Excel skills
Preferred:
• Experience from similar work in the public sector
• Good knowledge of state financial management
• Experience participating in or driving change and development projects in financial areas
• Experience with major financial or business systems and system support
