About this role

About the Position We are now seeking a driven, self-motivated controller with accounting skills for a Government Agency in Stockholm to cover a staff member's parental leave. In this role, you will primarily work in the property area, supporting the Head of Property in financial planning, follow-up, and reporting. You will be responsible for coordination, reporting, and quality assurance of the property area's work in connection with budget, forecast, and annual financial statements. The role also includes ongoing accounting such as reclassifications, project closures, and financial support to staff in the management. The remaining time will be spent working on tasks at the Finance Unit. This may include reviewing routines and guidelines, investigating various financial matters, or providing support in central financial work. In the property area, administrative assistants will be your closest colleagues. Assignment Period and Scope: The Controller position is a consulting assignment starting in early December and is expected to continue until 2026-09-30. There is also a possibility of extension until 2027-02-28. The assignment will be full-time until May 2026. During June and July 2026, it will be part-time (50%). Then it will return to full-time during August and September. If an extension is applicable, it will be full-time through January 2027. During February 2027, it will be part-time (50%). The assignment will be performed on-site at the agency's centrally located premises in Stockholm. Position Requirements: • Higher education from college or university • At least three (3) years of work experience as a controller • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent • Knowledge of analysis tools (e.g., QlikView, Insight, and Power BI) • Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) • Experience with government accounting • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • At least 3 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and business follow-up • Experience coordinating and leading colleagues in budget, forecast, and financial statement work • Worked at least 3 years in accounting and independently completed financial statements, reconciled accounts, made reclassifications and accruals, and continuously reported project status during monthly, quarterly, and annual closing To proceed in the process, your CV must clearly demonstrate that all above requirements are met. Beneficial for the Position: - At least 3 years of experience in the Unit4ERP (Agresso) financial system and its various modules - At least 3 years as an economist in the real estate industry - At least 1 year working with the FAST2 property system - At least 1 year working with the LEB property system To ensure a competency-based recruitment, workplace psychological tests may be used.
