We are now seeking a controller for the National Property Board of Sweden for a full-time temporary position. At our client, you will have a varied role where you combine analysis and follow-up with practical financial work – and become part of an engaged team contributing to preserving and developing some of Sweden's most valuable properties. About the Position Perido is currently seeking a controller for our client. The National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages and develops a large portion of state-owned properties with cultural and national significance. The agency is responsible for royal palaces, historical buildings, museums, theaters, and residences, as well as modern office and administrative spaces and land and forest assets. You will be based at the office located in Stockholm. Work Tasks The controller role is a full-time temporary position where the first month will primarily focus on handover and training. You will work closely with the property manager on financial planning, follow-up, and reporting within a property area. The role combines strategic analysis work with practical accounting tasks and involves collaboration with colleagues in the Finance Department. The work takes place in an organization preparing to change its property management IT support, creating an opportunity to contribute to development and improved working methods. Example Work Tasks: • Participate in budget, forecast, and financial statement work • Support the property manager with financial analysis and reporting • Perform ongoing accounting and handle project closures and reclassifications • Contribute to developing routines and support materials in the Finance Department • Collaborate with management assistants and other economists in the organization • Participate in implementing new property management IT support Your Characteristics As a controller, it is important to be analytical, precise, and structured. You need the ability to see the big picture while simultaneously noting details, as small deviations can be significant in financial analyses. A good controller is also communicative and can explain figures and connections clearly to others in the organization. Additionally, initiative and a solution-oriented approach are required to contribute improvements and efficiencies. Finally, collaboration skills and integrity are crucial, as the role often involves close contact with different parts of the organization and handling sensitive information. Qualifications: • Higher economic education from college or university • At least 3 years of experience working with financial management, budgeting, and business follow-up • Experience coordinating and leading colleagues in budget, forecast, and financial statement work • At least 3 years of accounting experience, independently completing financial statements • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, verbally and in writing Meriting Factors: • At least 3 years of experience with Unit4ERP (Agresso) economic system • At least 3 years as an economist in the real estate industry • At least 1 year with FAST2 property system • At least 1 year with LEB property system Scope and Commencement Full-time consultant assignment until 2026-09-30.
