The Controller Department within Region Blekinge consists of 20 employees and is part of the Finance area of responsibility.
The Finance area has overall responsibility for processes related to planning, budgeting, follow-up, accounting, purchasing, and classification. We are now seeking you who want to join our controller team. You can be assured that your qualified work will make a difference within our socially critical organization.

About the Job
In the role of controller, you will work closely with responsible managers and be part of the management groups of various operations. You will also be part of future-oriented change work, which means being involved in business development. The position involves various tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, follow-up and analysis, reporting, and economic calculations. Within our own department, you will be a co-creator in ongoing improvement efforts. Additionally, you will work closely with other colleagues and employees in the Finance area.
Region Blekinge assigns wartime positions to all permanent employees. Some of our positions are security-classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
About You
We are seeking candidates with a university degree in economics or a background that the employer deems equivalent. You have work experience from a relevant controller position, or experience that the employer considers comparable.
You are goal- and results-oriented and focus on the overall best with quality awareness. The ability to perform your work independently and be self-driven is as natural as possessing collaborative and problem-solving analytical skills. Furthermore, you are proactive, service-oriented, and flexible, adapting your communication style to the recipient's conditions.
To thrive as a controller with us, you should be relationship-oriented and have a good sense of humor.

About Finance
Region Blekinge's organization is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is Finance. Here, the organization's collective resources for finance, accounting, and analysis are located. The area also includes the Business Department and the Procurement Department for healthcare and dental care. The Finance area's mission is to lead, develop, and support the organization's work in purchasing, finance, and analysis. The area has overall responsibility for processes related to planning, budgeting, follow-up, accounting, purchasing, and classification. The area also holds responsibility for continuous development and implementation of shared methodologies, models, and working methods in finance and purchasing.
