Job Description We are now expanding our controller group with a combined position as a controller and project economist within Healthcare. You will work as a strategic and operational support in financial matters for operational and unit managers and other result-responsible individuals. An important part of your role will be to actively participate in the analysis of operations and to make the analysis understandable for non-economists, as well as to continuously communicate financial follow-ups in a straightforward manner. You will work proactively, identifying and preparing issues within the financial area for the financial manager at the center and operational management, contributing to the development and goal fulfillment of the operations by linking production data with financial results. In this role, you will work with financial planning, budgeting, and follow-up, investment and pricing calculations in close collaboration with the operations. You will also handle budgeting, follow-up, reporting, and accounting for various research projects. You will regularly visit the operations to gain operational knowledge, work together with various professionals, and participate in joint activities for competence development and environmental monitoring alongside your controller colleagues. Work Group You will be employed at the regional management office and belong to a unit consisting of about 25 controllers placed in the healthcare centers. We need to recruit a controller/project economist based in Linköping, but we also have administrative offices in Norrköping and Motala where you can work part-time. About You We are looking for someone with a degree in business administration or another relevant education combined with experience that the employer deems suitable for the position. You have a good knowledge of accounting and the ability to analyze and explain financial information. Previous experience in project management and working as a controller, supporting managers in financial analysis, is an advantage. You also have very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
