Your Responsibilities
As a cost reduction controller, you will work closely with the Business Excellence Manager and management team to plan, lead, and follow up on the cost reduction program. You will support project managers and executives in developing business cases for projects, prepare status updates, and present results to the local management group.
The role involves:
- Setting business cost reduction targets and following up on these with the management team and other stakeholders.
- Collaborating with Service functions to identify new cost savings.
- Supporting the development of calculations and business cases for improvements and projects.
- Ensuring savings are updated in the One PUMA Web system - both through personal updates and by ensuring other parts of the organization report their savings.
- Contributing to portfolio management of business development projects.
Your Profile
- Excellent ability to prepare and present in PowerPoint in English and Swedish.
- Very good skills in analyzing and compiling information in Excel.
- Basic understanding of financial terms and how to develop a business case.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English.
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Understanding of processes within similar industries is an advantage.
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI is an advantage.
- University degree, preferably in Industrial Economics or equivalent.
