AB Tierpsbyggen is Tierp Municipality's housing company and an important part of the entire community. We offer over 1,800 apartments distributed across 10 locations, where every fifth municipal resident has already chosen to live. Our second company, Tierps Kommunfastigheter AB, owns and manages Tierp Municipality's operational premises and special properties – ranging from schools to recreational facilities and commercial spaces. The total group-wide turnover for these two companies amounts to almost 400 million SEK with a balance sheet total of close to 1.8 billion.

WORK TASKS
As a controller, you will closely collaborate with the company's managers and budget managers, as well as other internal and external stakeholders. You will work across the company and be part of the finance department, reporting to the CFO. Your mission is to support management and operations with decision-making documents and analyses. You will play a crucial role in harmonizing and creating structure regarding processes, routines, reporting, and take significant responsibility for developing both companies' financial follow-up.
You will drive the development of business management within the companies. Support and develop budget and forecast work, and take responsibility for investment and project monitoring. The role includes reporting, report development, and profitability analyses. Other work areas include property valuation and acquisition issues, as well as internal control. The controller position at Tierpsbyggen is a broad role where you are also expected to provide support in year-end closing and annual reporting.
AB Tierpsbyggen is undergoing a major transformation involving both organizational and systemic changes. By leveraging digitalization opportunities, the organization will become more data-driven. Simultaneously, the budget and forecast processes in the company are being restructured to increase transparency and holistic responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with an academic degree in accounting/finance. You have several years of experience in controlling with responsibility or involvement in budgeting, forecasting, business-related analyses, reporting, and are accustomed to working systematically in these roles, preferably with a focus on system development. You have a natural interest in driving automation and digitalization of financial processes.
The controller role is broad, so it is important that you also master accounting and legislation in the field to be a resource in the companies' closing work. You are passionate about well-organized processes and value a modern and digital working method, with the ability to independently drive assignments and/or projects of an economic nature.
To thrive and succeed in the controller role, we believe you as a person are communicative, structured, relationship-building, and have good strategic initiative skills. Furthermore, you are an analytical problem solver who sees opportunities beyond challenges and is driven to achieve good results.
