JOB DESCRIPTION
As a controller, you will work both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues on budgeting, financial follow-ups, accounting, and analysis of financial data. You will also be involved in preparing cases and decision-making materials. You will work alongside one of the municipality's sections as well as with tasks for the municipality's development company.
The municipality's development company manages rental properties and will also take over the municipality's vehicle fleet at the turn of the year. Responsibilities include, among other things, accounting, VAT declarations, asset accounting, year-end closing, budget and forecasting work, and preparing financial decision-making materials for the CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, structured, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability, but you should also have:
- A university degree in finance or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel
Experience in public finance and knowledge of corporate accounting is advantageous.
You need to be flexible, enjoy challenges, and have a strong interest in working in a public organization.
