Job Description: Contract Manager in Energy Sector Project
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to contribute to a significant future project in the energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring contracts with ground, facility, and construction contractors. You will ensure work complies with agreements and regulations, resolve emerging issues throughout the project, and play a central role in collaboration between suppliers and the project organization. The role is ideal for someone who is structured, experienced in technical projects, and enjoys working closely with technical, legal, and business aspects.
About the Position
Scope: 100%
Start: December 2025 / January 2026
Location: Campus Värtan, Stockholm (business travel may be required)
Assignment Length: Until December 2026, with extension option 1 + 1 year
Primary Responsibilities
* Ensure contract terms are followed according to agreed contracts (primarily AB04, with potential ABT06 application)
* Monitor supplier performance and contractual commitments within assigned work packages
* Drive contract administration including contract management, deviation handling, change management, documentation, and reporting
* Proactively identify and manage contract and economic-related risks
* Negotiate and handle contract-related disputes, collaborating with legal/procurement teams
* Conduct regular contract reviews and audits
* Create and maintain documentation structure, reporting to work package leaders and procurement organization
* Contribute to effective communication flows with internal and external stakeholders
* Promote a collaborative culture and actively work according to project goals and processes
Your Profile
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of contract management in large industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects
* Comprehensive experience with AB04 contracts (required) and ABT06 (advantageous)
* Experience in collaborative entrepreneurship (partnering) is highly meriting
* Experience working closely with project management, procurement, and legal in complex projects
Knowledge & Skills
* Excellent understanding of construction law and contract standards
* Good overview of procurement processes and commercial contract models
* Ability to interpret contracts and drive issues independently
* Strong administrative skills with structured documentation
* Experience in contract interpretation for change management, cost control, and follow-up
* Systematic approach to risk management and monitoring
Education
* Relevant academic degree, such as law, economics, construction engineering, or equivalent professional experience

* Comfortable working in high-pressure project environments with clear deadlines
